With musical stylings reminiscent of PJ Harvey and Mazzy Star, Matti Ardison crafts a sound all her own--Trance Folk--on her debut CD, "Faith".
Matti Ardison's hypnotic debut CD features 12 original songs all composed by the artist. Ardison's sultry vocals and pensive lyrics convey a paradoxical sense of both sorrow and beauty. Her voice caresses the listener into a meditative,reflective state, while simple arrangements elicit a complex and moody musical landscape. "Faith" is an album both graceful and seamless, with songs that only get better with time.
Ardison composed, arranged, recorded and produced, "Faith". Her maverick indie approach inspires a sound all her own. She has performed extensively in both Canada and the US. This is Ardison's first solo project, a departure that will most surely mark her arrival in the music scene
